So, not much is happening lately (but that doesn't mean I'm going to slack off with this update journal.) I have a tendency to say 'click here to see updates' and such on my dA journals (because I secretly hate the lack of HTML I can use.)

So, as to what happened this month...



Writing and Publishing Projects

My story, Happy Ending, was released in Library of the Living Dead Press' ZOMBOLOGY anthology. This third-reprint story features a man who mourns for his wife after the world ends... and finds her in an unexpected way. General Life and Living stuff

As to other things that have been happening this month, I FINALLY finished The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. It was an AMAZING book, even though the ending was... so, so... I won't say, because I don't want to spoil it.

I've also been (steadily) working on the edits for my novel Pretty Things, though the year-old writing is particularly frustrating. I find that I can't edit more than one/two pages at a time because of how stressful it is (but don't worry, I'm getting it done.) I've also been working on my dark fantasy novel Blood. It's coming along nicely, but I haven't written for a few days because I've been trying to figure out where they're going. See, they got knocked off course due to a storm, but now they're back on course. But, seeing as how it takes weeks to travel the ocean in a wooden boat with sails, they need supplies. I think I've FINALLY got the location down, but I can't be too sure. You'll be able to see word/progress totals at the very end of the journal.

Another thing I've been doing is playing Fallout 3 . I absolutely LOVE that game. I hit level fifteen not too long ago with my evil chick, who's name is Delora. She goes around, killing innocents for their supplies and generally being evil. She just got president Eden's helicopter henchman armor after stumbling upon a slaughter site. Apparently, a raider set a bunch of traps and killed three of them, then died himself. Surprisingly, though, all four (three president's soldiers and the raider) were dead, so I got all THREE sets of armor (which I will soon be selling.) I also got three plasma rifles.

And to end this section, I've also been watching the amazing The X-Files. They're absolutely amazing and I love Scully and Mulder more than I probably should...
